The Holy Family Catholic Church Meals on Wheels site is in need of volunteers to either deliver meals or to package and serve meals at the church.

August 5th BBQ Fundraiser

Generations Community Center will be holding a fundraising BBQ lunch at Torpy Park on Thursday August 5th from 11am-2pm in the new Pavilion.

After visiting the After Loon Delight Art and Craft show in lower Torpy Park, come join Generations for Lunch!

Menu:

Pulled Pork Sandwiches & Chips- $8

Hotdogs & Chips – $5

Water and Soda- $1each

Proceeds will help with the building of the new Generations Community Center in Woodruff. Come join us for lunch and see plans for the new center!

The Riboli Family, Founders of Riboli Wine Estates & Creators of Stella Rosa

It all started in 1917, when the Riboli family founded Los Angeles’ historic San Antonio Winery. Back then, Los Angeles was the prime location for wine growing in all of California. For some time, the wine industry reigned as one of Southern California’s most economically significant and popular industries of that time.

After surviving Prohibition and about a century later, the Riboli family has continued its artisan winemaking tradition through four generations.

From within the tasting rooms of San Antonio Winery, customers repeatedly request a sweeter, light, refreshing wine. The Riboli family took this unique opportunity to create a semi-sweet, semi-sparkling wine style, which today, they are leader of. And so, Stella Rosa was born.

About the Products Available: In 2006, Nick Quint told people that he wanted to come out of retirement at age 61 and build Madison’s first Distillery. People laughed at him, including the people at the bank. But despite people’s discouragement, Quint’s business savvy told him that the demand for micro distilleries might mirror the demand and growth microbreweries had experienced in the early 2000s. Although YB spirits can be found in places like Miami and Las Vegas, the company has not forgotten its local roots. Madison will always be YB’s home. YB spirits are still crafted one batch at a time, using local ingredients. Labels are often hand applied and some are even signed by the head distiller.
